This letter is a reference in regards to my observations of Pericles Partners Inc. as a tenant at one their properties for two years. They were the Lessor whilst I was the Lessee (Member of a Group of 5 women) at the 118 Royal Avenue residence in Hamilton, Ontario; whilst attending McMaster University for my B.A degree. In addition, whilst at McMaster University I was also employed by Pericles Partners Inc. as their legal representative for advertising, marketing, selling, and executing leases w new student tenants, and annual inspections of their homes in the area.
I have nothing but positive words to say about this firm and the services they provide for McMaster University students. Sam is an outstanding landlord that excels at providing a safe, comfortable living environment for McMaster University students. At the rise of any issues within any one of their homes, Pericles Partners Inc responds almost instantly to solve the problem in an amicable manner. With a single phone call or e-mail made, a service requested was always completed right away. It was never necessary to ask twice.
Sam views the tenant/landlord relationship as a business partnership, which enables him to be straightforward, factual, and fair at all times. Lease is extremely simple, clear and extensive; and leaves room for no confusion. This protects us [students], because mutual legal expectations are unambiguous.
Furthermore, Sam is very dedicated to his homes, and it shows. The homes are very well maintained, managed and are tremendously comfortable. They are unlike other houses for McMaster University Students in the area because they are spacious and allow for a 'home-like' environment rather then a house maximized with small closet sized bedrooms & students crammed in to increase profit. They are homes for McMaster University students, rather than just a house to stay in.
My years at McMaster would not have been the same without living in the house that I did. The landlord and their houses are no doubt the best in the McMaster University area (re. off campus student housing houses & apartments for group student house rent lease rentals in Westdale, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; exclusively by students registered at McMaster University).
They have allowed my years at McMaster University to be most enjoyable. Sam and Pericles Partners Inc. have been a pleasure to work with, and without any reservations I highly recommend them!
